Meeting the Next Generation at the HKU Autumn Career Fair
On 17 September 2026, Milton took part in the HKU Autumn Career Fair 2026, organised by the University of Hong Kong. Hosted by CEDARS, this year's fair brought together more than 200 employers and government departments, with 15 to 18 September dedicated to commercial and NGO recruitment. We were glad to join as one of the participating employers.
What defines us is our role as a one-stop material solutions provider, helping clients find the right materials for the right application across a wide range of industries. The fair gave us a chance to introduce that work to students and recent graduates, and to meet people who want to build their careers around it.
Over the course of the day, our team spoke with students from a range of faculties about the industry and the many paths within it, from business development and supplier partnerships to technical and project work. A highlight of these conversations was our global rotational programme, which offers early-career talent the chance to gain exposure across different parts of the business and different markets. Many students were drawn to how this programme can shape a career, and to how sustainability is reshaping the wider sector.
Events like this matter to us. The move toward better material solutions depends as much on people as on products, and we see real value in connecting early with talent who share that outlook. We were encouraged by both the level of interest and the quality of the conversations at our booth.
